What is the E-2 Visa?

The E-2 visa is a non-immigrant investor visa. It lets citizens of treaty countries – including Canada and UK - live in the U.S. based on an investment in a real, operating business.

You can start a new company, buy a franchise, or purchase an existing business and actively manage it. In return, you and your family receive the right to live in the U.S. as long as the business stays active and meets the requirements.
